The Gospel is true!

Praise

Praise the Lord! The national brother, "Abu", who was is prison for two months, over work-related charges is now out on bail and with his family again. Pray that God will provide funds to repay the lawyer helping in the case, and that Abu will find a good new job.

Prayer

Last month an official request was made to the local government for land to build a new church. We have no clue how fast the government may act on this request--it could take months or years. Please pray the government would grant the request in a timely manner.

Pray for Ebitisam who has been befriending a worker. Her mother is already a believer, but E doesn't seem interested despite exposure to the Christian faith. Please pray that she would be interested in the scriptures.

Pray that our country will remain proactive in developing counterterrorism programs and strategies to ensure that it does not become a terrorist safe haven.

Please pray for the tentmakers here and the discouragement they are facing at this time. Pray also as 'material' is moved around from house to house as concern is felt by tentmakers.

Many are traveling during this holiday season. Three Germans were kidnapped recently, but have been released. Ask that those who are traveling will be kept safe and will face no harm on the road.

Testimony

He came to talk to a friend about a business proposition. The two men finished their business and then the topic of Faith came up. He said that he really believes in Christ but it is just too dangerous to voice that here and Christianity is good for others. The friend asked him, "What would you say to God when you get to Heaven? That the Bible is good for others, but not for me?" Ask that this man will be convinced that the Gospel is true and it is worth everything.
