PEACE IN THE MIDST OF FEAR
• It is hard for people who love the Savior to enter Yemen right now, but there are Yemenis who have left to wait out the conflict in other countries. Pray that these people will hear the Good News, believe and grow in faith. Pray that they will take the Truth back to their families and friends.
• In Qatar nowadays, there is a lot of worry and disappointment due to job insecurity, economic recession that has led to a lot of lay-offs, budget cuts, inflation, high cost of living, and reduction in income due to the oil crisis. This has led to a lot of uncertainties about the future. This is the general mood around us currently. Pray that these uncertainties will actually lead to a search for that which is certain in life - Eternal Life and Salvation in Jesus Christ our Lord.
• Chaos continues in Yemen as street fighting and air strikes do not stop in various parts of the country. As people around the world celebrate Christmas and the message of "Peace on Earth, Good Will to men", let them not forget to pray for those who suffer. Pray that peace will come to the land of Yemen and that all there will hear about One who can give peace to their souls.
• Fear is justifiable for those who are plagued by war, but it also causes people to make poor decisions. Pray for a young person who has been harassed and is struggling with making good decisions due to fear. Pray for all of those who have heard the Good News that they will remember the promises of God to "Cast away fear", to "Fear not, I am with you", if they will only believe.
"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart."
