JOINING IN PRAYER WITH OTHERS
Through his university job, Doug finds several people outside the university wanting to meet him, whether for counsel on his subject or just out of curiosity toward this Arabic speaking professor. Pray for alertness to divine encounters, boldness, and perception of the felt needs that would lead these men to the Lord Jesus.
CHILDREN IN YEMEN
Children are starving in Yemen, especially in Tihama, an impoverished area even before the war. Pray that medical aid and food will be collected and given to those in need. Pray for the healthcare workers who are trying to help, even with limited funds. Pray for God's mercy on those who are suffering.
16 SPOTLIGHT CITIES PRAYER
Songs are an integral part of worship. Praise the Lord for those in the Arabian Peninsula who have created songs to worship God in their heart language and are passing them onto their friends. Pray that other believers will write songs of worship to God and share them with others in their community of faith.
• From October 2016, we at PTAP are joining other prayer networks to start praying strategically for 16 key cities in the Arabian Peninsula. These 16 cities have been identified as significant places of influence and yet are unengaged and unreached by believers. Therefore, we want to pray to the Lord of the Harvest to send workers to these cities with the good news of the gospel. Overall, we want to pray that He will build His church where there is none.
• We will highlight one city per month for 16 months. This month focuses on Al Hasa in Saudi Arabia. Please click HERE in order to download information and prayer points for Al Hasa. Let's join our hearts together to see the entire Peninsula reached with the gospel by covering these cities in prayer!
JOINING IN PRAYER WITH OTHERS
PTAP is partnering with a believer from a Muslim background to pray for the Muslim world every Friday. He has initiated a Global Prayer Movement for Muslims until June 2017. Would you commit to praying for Muslims every Friday which is their holy day? Their midday prayers in mosques around the world are especially important on Friday and so we want to pray from 12:00pm - 1:00pm. We especially want groups to pray and so please feel free to email us and let us know of your commitment - a church, a small group, a youth group, a prayer group, etc. One suggestion is to use PTAP's weekly prayer requests to fuel your prayer time every Friday.
